Hello Ballet Gloria Dancers and Families,
Ballet Gloria will host its 5th Summer Workshop, to God be the Glory! Dates for 2010 are July 12th through July 17th. Please feel free to invite your friends.
Classes will be offered Monday 7/12-Friday 7/16 at Oak Hills Church Crownridge Campus, 19595 IH 10 West, San Antonio, TX, 78256. There will be an end-of-week demonstration on the morning of Saturday 7/17 to be held at Oak Hills Church North Central Campus, 814 Arion Parkway, Suite 410, San Antonio, TX 78216 (in the Parkway Plaza Office Park near 281 and Nakoma)
Registration will be online at http:/balletgloriasummer10.eventbrite.com and by mail (paper forms will be handed out the last day of Ballet Gloria classes 4/26). No registration will be done through the OHC offices. Registration will occur between May 12 and June 12. There will be no registration at the door. If we have not received your registration by June 12th, you do not have a space. You will receive an email confirmation if you register online and a surface mail registration if you register by mail. You will receive details about forms and sign-in procedures with your confirmation.
If you do not show up on the first day of class and do not let us know, then we cannot guarantee your spot. If we have a wait list, the spot will be given to the first child on the wait list of matching age.
Classes will be by age - meaning that sisters and friends may end up in different classes. Please do not ask us to rearrange classes to keep sisters and friends together - small changes for you make big changes in classes.
We offer a daily ballet class with scripture memory for children in 3-6yrs. Parents are than welcome to participate with their children, but are also be welcome to simply observe (there must be one parent on campus for each child during this class period). This age group will meet from 10:00a.m.-11:00a.m.
We also offer daily intensive training for ages 7yrs. and up from 11:00a.m.-3:00p.m. These classes could include: Bible Study, Ballet Technique, Hebrew Dancing, and Christ in Culture. Parents are welcome to participate in and/or observe all of these classes (please email me if you are interested in being a room parent—we need you!!!). However, parents are not required to stay on campus during this class period. We ask that this age group bring sack lunches.
This has been a wonderful year and I thank God daily for you and for the opportunity to work with such wonderful young men and women as your children! I have been so blessed by your hard work, smiling faces, encouraging words, and sweet spirits. Thank you so much! I am really looking forward to next year!
